Tony Hinchliffe

Tony creates his work with the sense of exploring escapism and creativity choosing oil paint as a favoured medium to apply over acrylic. 

Tony's figurative work captures the emotions of intimacy by using loose approach to his brushwork.

His preferred medium is oil paint, he does sometimes create an acrylic underpainting first as he really likes the way the oil paint behaves when applied over acrylic. He often dilutes the oil paint down with turpentine in the initial stages and use it like watercolour.
